This Sunday afternoon is Mill Valley’s 30th annual wine & gourmet food tasting event in Depot Plaza. It’s sponsored by the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce (a great group of folks) and Mill Valley Market. It will have over 80 wineries and breweries, six great local restaurants, and 30 specialty food purveyors. And, for the cost of one ticket, you get all the wine, beer, and food samples you can consume!
The wineries represent about half-a dozen California counties, the Pacific Northwest, as well as European, Australian and South American countries. There will be over a dozen artisan and craft brewers serving up their specialty brews, including Marin County’s own Iron Springs Brewery, Moylan’s Brewing Company, and Marin Brewing Company. The local restaurants who will be serving up their specialties are Piatti, Piazza d’Angelo, Balboa Cafe, El Paseo House of Chops, Charlie Hong Kong and Tony Tutto Pizza.
This is the Chamber’s big annual fundraising event, with proceeds going to support Mill Valley economic development and green business programs.
Since alcohol is being served, only those 21 years and above will be admitted, and no dogs or strollers allowed.
