Are you looking for a great way to get out and enjoy this beautiful summer weather we enjoy in Marin? Grab some friends or take the whole family over to play a round of Mini Golf at McInnis Park in San Rafael (website). It’s a really fun little course built into the side of a hill. Each inventive hole brings its own set of challenges, and you’ll find yourself navigating over streams, through pinwheels, and between numerous obstacles. Noah, my boys and I spent a really fun afternoon there earlier this month (for those of you wondering, Noah and I did manage to beat the boys in our round). The course is 18 holes long, with two bonus holes at the end for those who aren’t quite ready to give up their balls yet. It’s a ton of fun, and a great way to spend a few hours this weekend.
After your round of golf, you can grab a bite to eat at the snack shop or at the restaurant on the premises. The complex also includes a double decker driving range, a 9-hole executive golf course, a golf pro shop, a batting cage facility, and soccer fields.
