230. Cibo

You know a restaurant has got to be good when another good restaurant recommends it. That’s how I found Cibo – it was recommended by the manager of one of Sausalito’s top restaurants. Cibo is the perfect spot for a casual, high quality and European flavored breakfast, lunch, or coffee throughout the day.

They open at 7:00 and start with a nice variety of hot and cold dishes including eggs, oatmeal, pastries, fresh fruit, and then move into lunch with salads and a wide variety of panini’s – delicious. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. The service is prompt but it still feels like they took time to make it.

It’s in a cool, old unreinforced masonry building, with a high ceiling and some exposed brick walls on the interior. The interior dining rooms are big with lots of natural light, plus they’ve got tables and umbrellas outside for sunny days.
