San Anselmo holds its annual Country Fair Day & Parade this Sunday, September 25th, kicking off with a pancake breakfast at the main fire station at 7:00. The Chamber of Commerce and Department of Parks and Recreation have really gotten behind it this year and its a day full of fun events for everyone.
After stuffing yourself with pancakes and ham, head down San Anselmo Avenue to see the booths and enjoy the kids entertainment all along the way from Tamalpais Avenue to Pine Street. There a ton of kids activities including a climbing wall (love it!), face painting, the train (a year-in-year-out favorite), jumpees and something called a “U-Bot” which is not being explained ahead of time so you’ve got to come discover what it is at the fair.
The parade starts at 11:00 and runs down San Anselmo Avenue from Ross to Tamalpais Avenue. Then the live music and barbeque kick in at noon at Creek Park. Two bands will play throughout the afternoon, winding up at 4:00
