272. Oktoberfest on Main

Even though I have tickets for a play at 8:00 tomorrow (Friday), I’m going to start the evening off with Tiburon’s Oktoberfest on Main. I simply can’t pass up a beer, bands and bratwurst party on Main Street, Tiburon, especially knowing that rain is on the way and it might be my last warm evening dinner outside this year. This is also the last of the 2011 Friday Night on Main series, so I want to take advantage of that, too.

There will be German music provided by the Karl Lebherz Band, and dancing in the street to go along with it (polka, anyone?). The Boathouse will be providing the bratwurst, and Waypoint Pizza will be selling Full Sail Beer. In true Oktoberfest tradition, the long communal tables will be set up in the street and after a few beers the place should become quite lively – although it always is with all of the kids running around having a ball.
