314. Micetro

EPiC Production Company’s “Micetro” sold out again tonight at The Little Theater, Redwood High School, Larkspur. Having seen the first two performances, my son, Scott, highly recommended it, so I thought I’d catch it and write about it. I got there early, but not early enough. Word is out that it’s really good, and since every night is a different show, audience members just keep going back for more.

The reason every night is a new show is that it is an improv show with different scenes and cast member combinations every night. It also has an elimination format, where 23 cast members start, and then numbers are pulled to select small groups for each scene. At the end of each scenario, the audience gets to give points for each group. As the show moves along, the lowest scoring cast members get removed and by the end of the show there is one person remaining, the Micetro!

There are two more shows, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. I recommend getting there by 6:45 to guarantee seats.

Where: Redwood High School Little Theater, 395 Doherty Drive, Larkspur, CA 94939 (map)

When: November 9 – 12; 7:30 p.m.

Cost: Students $5 Adults $10
