320. Corte Madera Cafe

Quiet little downtown Corte Madera has a terrific little breakfast and lunch spot in the Corte Madera Cafe. It has a bit of an old fashioned atmostphere, very homey and casual with a black and white checkered floor and counter dining in addition to the tables. I like getting a table in a front alcove so that I can watch what’s going on outside.

I like the toast and eggs with tea, which is nothing fancy but it’s the kind of no-nonsense breakfast in a comfortable atmosphere that appeals so much to me. Others really like their hash browns and eggs benedict. It’s quiet on weekday mornings and a good spot to meet for a business breakfast or coffee.

Free on street parking or in the two small parking lots nearby.
