Foodniks (Tiburon)
A friend describes me as the “starvingest” person he knows. He’s referring to my tendency to get wrapped up in my work and then all of a sudden realize I’m famished and need food now. Fortunately, there’s a fantastic take-out/cafe in Tiburon that unfailingly satisfies seriously hungry diners such as myself, and does it with such excellent food that it’s pure bliss. I’m referring to Foodniks, of course, in The Cove Shopping Center just off Tiburon Boulevard not too far from 101. I’m doubly lucky, too, because our office loves Foodniks too so they cater our lunches and special events!
My favorite sandwich is their awesome grilled reuben, with dilled mustard that really sets it apart. Yesterday we had their artichoke lasagne at our Sales Meeting, which was devoured in short order by vegetarians and carnivores alike. I’ve honestly never heard anything but high praise for their dishes, which they have an incredible variety of for eating-in, take-away or catering.
