Poncho’s Casa Manana

At the end of the row of shops along Ark Row on Main Street in Tiburon lies Poncho’s Casa Manana, an unassuming little Mexican restaurant with a great front outdoor patio. The cafe is a favorite with the locals and Tiburon business owners who have been coming here for years. Pretty much everyone sits outside whenever they can, because it has the perfect combination of sun and shade, and is a very quiet and pleasant spot, perfect for a leisurely lunch with a beer or sangria. I recommend the fried plantains with mole sauce – delicious!

Heads up – it’s pretty inexpensive, but it’s a cash only establishment. If you forget you can get money from an ATM over at the Union Bank on Tiburon Boulevard. There’s free parking on the street right in front of the restaurant.
