Hike the Hoo Koo E. Koo Loop

Hoo Koo E. Koo Loop – Besides a really fun name – this trail is beautiful.

When you make it to the top you reach a crest with views of Mill Valley to the East and Mt. Tamalpais park to the west. Can’t beat that!

When:        Saturday, November 29, 2014, 9am – 12pm
Where:      Meet at the gate at the end of Crown Rd in Kent Woodlands.

From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west 2.1 miles. Turn left onto College Ave, right onto Woodland Rd, left onto Evergreen Dr. Continue uphill to the intersection with Ridgecrest; 50-feet uphill from this junction, left onto Crown Rd, and follow to end (dead end).

You will take the Hoo Koo E Koo Trail up to the ridge, come down the Huckleberry Trail and then head back to Crown Rd (approximately 5 miles 2-12-10-t-on-hoo-koo-e-koo-trtotal).

Dress in layers, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water and high energy snacks. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. This is a rain or shine event but high winds will cancel. Questions: Contact Ranger Ian McLorg at (415) 473-2816 or IMcLorg@marincounty.org.

Have a great time!
